Why Gardena systems work differently

Keep about two feet of clear space around the outdoor unit. Remove leaves, trash and plants that block airflow.

Make sure supply and return vents inside are open and not covered by furniture or rugs.

If the system stops, check the thermostat settings and batteries and the breaker before calling.

Signs it is time to call

Warm air from the AC, weak airflow, ice on refrigerant lines, water around the indoor unit, new buzzing or grinding noises, or a system that short-cycles on and off are all reasons to have it looked at. If you smell gas or burning, or see smoke or sparking, leave the building and call 911 or your gas utility first.
